The UCI World Road Championships will take place here in Richmond September 19th through 27th. Grace Covenant sits right in the thick of much of the action, but City Church services and events will still take place according to schedule.

During August, we will have an open officer nomination period at City Church. That means any communing member in good standing is invited to prayerfully submit nominations for the offices of elder and/or deacon, keeping in mind the Biblical standards for each. Nominations should to be made to the Session in writing (email is sufficient) and received by Monday, August 31.

We are excited to announce our Summer Interns for 2015! Our hope is that these internships will serve City Church by providing additional staff support to key areas of our ministry over the summer. These internships reflect our commitment to the continued development of leaders within the Church and for God’s Kingdom.

With great excitement we want to introduce Joshua Earman as City Church's new pastor, effective July 5th!

Typically, our mentality toward the idea of child sexual abuse is, "it won't happen to my child, or anyone I know." We hope and pray that this is true, but, based on the statistic that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before they are 18, the reality is, you will most likely know someone who was sexually abused at some point in their life, if you don't already. City Church will host Stewards of Children Training, a nationally recognized child sexual abuse prevention training that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This course will take place on Sunday, April 19th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm in room 311 at Grace Covenant.
