Our Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for men to learn with and from each other as we seek God’s unique calling for us as friends, role models, fathers, and leaders. We strive to be a group of men who welcome anyone seeking to follow Jesus and are brave enough to be real, confessing sin and seeking repentance.

Opportunities to engage occur throughout the year and include men’s bible studies and fellowship events. The main event is the annual Men’s Overnight that takes place every April at a retreat center on the James River.

2018 Men's Overnight

This annual tradition will take place at Chanco on the James, located less than an hour away on the James River, from noon on Saturday, April 28 to noon on Sunday, April 29.

The overnight will be an opportunity to deepen relationships and make new ones while enjoying good food, sports, and conversations on the porch. This year’s speaker is Rob Wootton, a VCU grad, former Intervarsity staff, and currently serving as a pastor in the region.

Please save the date and register today (and invite a friend). The cost will range between $50-70, based on your choice of accommodation, which includes lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. After April 18th the cost to register will go up, so don’t wait until the last minute!
