COVID-19 Recommendations Update

Dear City Church,

In light of new guidance provided by the CDC, the Virginia Department of Health, and the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts, City Church’s Re-Opening Task Force and Session now recommend that all individuals wear masks in public indoor settings, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Staying in line with our current mask practices, this recommendation applies to ages 4 and up, and masks are required indoors for Children’s Ministry volunteers and all children taking part in Children’s Worship.

Richmond and its surrounding areas are currently experiencing high transmission levels* of COVID-19. Per public health officials, vaccinations and masking while indoors continue to be effective ways to mitigate community spread of COVID-19.

As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve, our Re-Opening Task Force will meet every other week to evaluate our protocols. We will share updates via email, our website, and social media as they are available.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me or another member of the Re-Opening Task Force (members listed below).

Stay well and do good.
