In Case You Missed It: Budget Presentation

Dear City Church,

On Sunday, the Finance Team shared a budget presentation on the 2020-2021 fiscal year and details on what we have planned for 2021-2022.

You can watch the presentation here, but we’ve also put together some graphics to cover the highlights. (Make sure you have enabled images on this email to view them.)

Put simply, God was faithful in 2020-2021, and we continue to be humbled by your generosity. Your offerings allowed us to cover our expenses and bless our Ministry Partners and members of our community with consistent financial support in the midst of such a strange, hard year.

You have also enabled us to look to the coming year with confidence.

We have budgeted for 5.1% increase in Congregational Giving for 2021-2022. As we continue our tradition of sending 21% of offerings back out into the community, this means we will be able to support our Ministry Partners even more.

Meanwhile, your generosity allowed us to increase certain budget line items that will support our staff and enhance different aspects of church life. For specifics on those, make sure to watch the presentation! You’ll also hear more about some of our Ministry Partners, our investment account, and exciting plans we have for the 2020-2021 surplus. The video is only about 15 minutes, and we believe it will be an encouragement to you.

If you have questions about the budget or anything covered in the presentation, please feel free to get in touch.

Stay well and do good.
