City to City Europe

As you know, and as we declare on our website, “We believe that God’s grace sends us out into the world to make known the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection. One of the ways we do this is by supporting people who are already doing this in Richmond, in the United States, and around the world. City Church financially and prayerfully supports a number of partner ministries and organizations.”

One of the new ministry partners we now support is City to City Europe. Started by Tim Keller and Redeemer Presbyterian almost 20 years ago, City to City seeks to create a movement of the gospel in the major cities of the world; City to City Europe does this work by partnering with gospel-centered churches to plant new churches in the major cities of Europe.

In the last 10 years alone, City to City has helped planted 140 churches in 43 cities in Europe. With the momentum God has given them, their new very ambitious goal is to plant another 400 in the next five years.

We have an opportunity to hear about this work on a Zoom session on Thursday, February 11th at 10am. The call will be hosted by the head of City to City Europe, Stephan Pues, and will feature at least one of the planters as well as an update on their good work.
