Hope for People-Pleasers: Fearing Less, Loving More: One of the deepest, most common roots of our relational problems is the act of replacing God with people. Whether it is labeled peer pressure, people-pleasing, or need for attention and approval it is seen in how we overachieve, feel easily embarrassed, or get angry when are faults are exposed. This is a universal problem. This course examines those roots and outlines God’s antidote. We’ll meet on six Sundays (beginning September 13th) in room 303 at Grace Covenant from 2:45-3:45pm. Childcare available by request (please RSVP for childcare here). Email joshua@citychurchrva.com for info.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES...

Caring for the Marshalls: We have been given the opportunity to offer on-going care for two beloved City Church members: Jane Marshall and her mother, Mabel. Our current efforts are focused on providing meals for both Jane and Mabel and arranging for Mabel to have visitors when Jane needs to be out of the house. If you're interested in taking part in meals and/or visitation, please contact Caitlin Wise at caitlincwise@gmail.com and she'll get you connected.
