Sunday Formation FAQ

What is Sunday Formation?
First, let’s go over what it isn’t: it isn’t another sermon.

Sunday Formation is a weekly opportunity to connect and learn with members of our church family outside of our worship service.

When does Sunday Formation meet?
We will meet every Sunday beginning this week through November 14th.

What time does it start?
5:30. When worship ends, Sunday Formation starts.

What time does it end?
Adults will finish up at 6:20 so parents can pick up their kids and everyone is out by 6:30.

Do I need to register?
Nope.

Who gets to come?
Everyone! We have Sunday Formation classes for preschoolers through adults and nursery care for ages 0 through 3.

Where do we go?

  • Adults: Room 300

  • High Schoolers: Room 301

  • Middle Schoolers: Room 308

  • City Kids (ages 4 through 5th grade): drop off and pick up in the Fellowship Hall*

  • Nursery (ages 0 through 3): Room 311

*Our City Kids will be divided into groups for PreK-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade for their lessons.

What COVID-19 protocols will we be following?
Our recommendations for worship also apply to Sunday Formation: masks are strongly recommended for public indoor settings, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. This recommendation applies to ages 4 and up. All Children’s Ministry volunteers are required to wear masks while serving.

Will there be food?
Yes! All kids will be fed dinner. Adults will have drinks and heavy hor d’oeuvres.

See you Sunday!
