Update from the Prague Team: Leland Says Hi (and more)
Hello friends and family, I am having a lot of fun here in Prague. My favorite thing we did was when we went to teen challenge. I liked playing hand ball with the Roma kids. I learned that even in a whole new continent some things can be exactly the same. Thank you for praying for me.
Love, Leland

Encouragement Through Man-to-Man Ministry (and more)

McNerney Prayer Update
"I find it is good for my soul to be forced to interact regularly for the sake of the gospel with unpredictable slices of lost humanity." One of the reasons our partnership with international missionaries is so helpful is that they point us back to truths that we can insulate ourselves from.
Stewards of Children Training
Typically, our mentality toward the idea of child sexual abuse is, "it won't happen to my child, or anyone I know." We hope and pray that this is true, but, based on the statistic that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before they are 18, the reality is, you will most likely know someone who was sexually abused at some point in their life, if you don't already. City Church will host Stewards of Children Training, a nationally recognized child sexual abuse prevention training that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This course will take place on Sunday, April 19th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm in room 311 at Grace Covenant.
Lent 2015: Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Faithful Virtues
During Lent this year, City Church will focus on the historic Seven Deadly Sins as a way to guide our repentance and preparation for the new life of God’s Spirit.
