Reflections from the Prague Team:Lauren Mathews put together a wonderful recap of the Prague Team's trip. Please take a moment to read it. We will also hear from the team both during and after Sunday's service. Please plan on sticking around for a little while on Sunday to see their presentation; it is sure to be very encouraging!
Prayer Tomorrow: At City Church we strive to be a community of prayer: dependent on God for His purpose, protection, and provision. Please join us tomorrow, July 10th, at 7am to pray for individual needs, City Church, and for the city of Richmond. We’ll be meeting this week at the Church office, 3rd floor at Grace Covenant. Enter in the back entrance of building. Hope to see you there. (City Church prayer takes place every other Thursday.)
Healing Service: We will hold a healing service on Sunday, July 13th at 7:30pm in the City Church office (suite 304). We encourage anyone with chronic illnesses or conditions to join us to receive prayer and support. Contact Erik at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Summer Parenting Conversations: We will hold two more parenting conversations on Wednesday evenings this summer: July 23rd and August 13th from 5:30-7:30pm. All of the meetings will take place at Grace Covenant in Room 303. Childcare will be provided ($10/child; $20 family maximum). Dinner for your children will also be provided for those who desire. Sacred Marriage (with Gary Thomas): Strengthen your current or future marriage and uncover how your marriage can become a doorway to a closer walk with God and each other. This First Things First event will take place at West End Assembly of God (401 N. Parham Road) on Saturday, August 23rd, 8:30am to 12:30pm. Volunteering at Pregnancy Resource Center of Richmond: Join the staff and volunteers at PRC for an Orientation Gathering, Thursday, August 7th from 7-8:30pm where you can learn more about the PRC by touring the center, meeting the staff and learning about the volunteer opportunities. Needs from the East End Pregnancy Test & Help Center: EEPC has a client in need of special care. She lives in Gilpin Court with four-year-old twins and has just given birth to triplets! The center is hoping to find extra support for her over the next few months: meals, transportation, errands, household assistance, etc. If you would like to provide a meal or some practical help for her family, please signup here: http://www.mealtrain.
Support for the Chattanooga Team: The Chattanooga Team is currently finishing up their work with Hope for the Inner City and will head back to Richmond soon. If you’re interested in providing additional financial support for the team (as a whole or for individuals), you can do so online or by check (please include the team member’s name in the memo line).
