Eat at Chick-Fil-A to support City Capernaum! This Thursday, June 19th, Young Life City Capernaum will host a fundraiser night at Chick-fil-a in Stratford Hills (southside) from 5:00 to 8:00 to help our friends get to camp this July! If we hit $1000 in sales, we get 20% of the revenue, so spread the word! (Be sure to mention you’re there to support “Capernaum”.) If you’d like to support kids with disabilities who are trying to go to camp, but cannot make it, please contact Blake Stack at email@example.com.

Meals for Phil Weisshaar: City Church will provide meals for Phil Weisshaar for the next few weeks as he recovers from a recent illness. If you’d like to serve Phil in this way, visit takethemameal.com to sign up. The log-in and password are both: Phil.
Items for Refugee Family: We recently began collecting clothing for a refugee family making their new home here in Richmond. The family is in the process of settling into a house and starting work, so they are in need of some additional items:
- A lawnmower (huge yard)
- Bus fare (the oldest son started work today and until he gets paid it will be $3/day for him to take the bus to and from work)
- Size large men's collared shirts (for the oldest boy to wear to work)
- Boards to go in the twin beds they already have
- Khaki pants, size 34x30 or 34x 31 (for the oldest boy to wear to work).
- Mattresses with box springs (the family still needs 3 of these)
- Chairs for kitchen table
Items can be left in the parlor on Sunday or dropped off at the City Church office. Please contact Anne Taylor Robertson (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
New City Group Leaders Needed! City Church is not a church with small groups, but a church of small groups; we call these groups City Groups. We are hoping to gather and train new leaders for these groups. If you are interested learning more about City Group leadership, email John@citychurchrva.com for more information.
