Prayer Tomorrow: At City Church we strive to be a community of prayer: dependent on God for His purpose, protection, and provision. Please join us tomorrow, February 20th, at 7am to pray for individual needs, City Church, and for the city of Richmond. We’ll be meeting this week at the Church office, 3rd floor at Grace Covenant. Sunday's Meet & Greet: All are welcome to join us for coffee and snacks in the parlor following Sunday's service. Nothing formal--just a chance to enjoy some refreshments, catch up with friends, and meet new people.

Ash Wednesday Observance: We will hold a service in observance of Ash Wednesday on March 5th at 7pm at All Saints Presbyterian Church (3000 Grove Avenue). All are welcome!

Save the Date: City Church Spring Banquet! The third annual City Church Banquet will take place on Sunday, March 23rd immediately after the service in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to join us for this semi-formal, catered event when we will share a meal and celebrate all that God has done for and through our church over the last year. Evite coming soon!

Save the Date: Men’s Overnight! The City Church Men’s Overnight is Friday, May 9th. It will be held at Chanco on the James (located about forty-five minutes south of Richmond). Stay tuned for more details!

Elijah House Academy Gala: Come to the Elijah House Academy Gala (dessert and coffee) on February 26th from 7-9pm! Women’s Bible Studies: Women’s Bible studies will continue on Monday evenings at 7:30pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:30am; both sessions will meet at Grace Covenant. This spring we will study the book of Proverbs together. The cost is $5. Child care is available during the Wednesday morning study for $10 per child ($20 maximum per family). Mercy Fund on Sunday: We will take up a special mercy fund offering at Sunday’s service, as we always do on the last Sunday of the month. Whatever is given will be kept separate from our general budget and will be used to aid those in our congregation, and in our community, who have emergency needs. Please prayerfully consider what you might give.

Help Finish the Children's Worship Mural! The mural in the Children's Worship classroom is almost complete, but we are in need of a few additional volunteers to help us reach our goal to finish painting by March 23rd (the date of the City Church Banquet). RVA4SouthSudan: RVA4SouthSudan is a network of individuals and churches from various denominations who are joining to send medical supplies, blankets, and pots to Moyo, Uganda in order to help native Ugandans and refugees from South Sudan who are fleeing conflict. It is our desire to show, in a tangible way, that God cares about hurting and displaced peoples. Want to help? City Church is gathering blankets (new or *clean* used). City Church Summer Ministry Internships: City Church is looking to hire three summer ministry interns: women’s ministry intern, children’s ministry intern, and pastoral intern. Summer Mission Trips: City Church will be going on two missions trips this summer: an evangelism-related trip to Prague (June 14th through 23rd) and a mercy-ministry-related trip to Chattanooga (July 5th through 12th). Both trips are open to all! For more information, email John Bourgeois at
