October 12th Seminars--RSVPs for Child Care Needed: City Church will host two seminars on Saturday, October 12th here at Grace Covenant from 9:30 to noon.

Courageous Conversations with Lisa Ould (Women's Seminar, room 212): Lisa’s seminar will equip us to become better friends, as we listen and enter-in to the lives of those around us. She will help us to see how each of our stories are a part of God’s larger story of redemption and will offer practical application to love and support one another throughout life’s seasons and circumstances. Child care is available for $10 per child/$20 maximum per family. Please complete this form to register for the seminar (we ask that ALL attendees register–not just those in need of childcare–so we can plan accordingly).

Redeeming Frienship (Men's Seminar, room 303): Counselor Alec Kean will lead a seminar for men about being a man and friendship. We will be answering questions like, “How do I avoid becoming a lonely jerk?” Please email John Bourgeois ( for more information and to register.

If you need child care, please RSVP (either through the form linked in the information on the women's seminar or via email) no later than Wednesday, October 8th. Email Valerie Catrow ( with quesitons about child care.

The pageant will take place on Saturday, December 7th at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Covenant; the party will begin right after the pageant ends at around 6. We will also hold a brief rehearsal after our regular service on Sunday, November 24th. Kids of all ages (steady walkers and up) are invited to take part.
