Announcements, 9.25.13

This Week’s Sermon Text: This Sunday John will preach on Matthew 5:13-16. We invite you to read ahead to help prepare yourself for this week’s sermon.

Prayer Tomorrow: Please join members of City Church’s leadership and staff to pray for City Church tomorrow, September 26th, from 7am-8am in the church office, 1627 Monument Avenue, Suite 304.

No Children's Worship on Sunday: As this is the fifth Sunday of the month, Children’s Worship will not take place during that service. We encourage parents to worship with their children and to see it as an opportunity to teach them about the service. (Nursery care will still be available for ages 0 through 3.)

Mercy Fund on Sunday: We will take up a special mercy fund offering at Sunday’s service, as we always do on the last Sunday of the month. Whatever is given will be kept separate from our general budget and will be used to aid those in our congregation, and in our community, who have emergency needs. Please prayerfully consider what you might give.

City Church Missions Team: Interested in learning more about missions at City Church or helping out with the missions team? You can join us at our meeting at 7:30pm on September 29th in the City Church offices (room 304 at Grace Covenant) Please contact for details.
