Cookout to Celebrate Baby Lowe: All are invited to join us on June 7th from 6:30pm to 9pm for a cookout to help Megan and Brandon celebrate the impending arrival of their baby. The cookout will take place at Jeremy Pryor's house. Burgers and hot dogs will be provided; please bring a side dish to share. RSVP to Jennifer Murphy ( by Thursday if you plan to attend. Welcome, Baby Crawford! Caley and Andy Crawford welcome Anne White "Annie" Crawford, born at 3:20am on May 31st, weighing 9 lbs 2 oz. Meals for the City Church Families: City Church is currently providing meals for three families: the Eldridges, the Sibigas, and the Marshalls. If you’re interested in serving these families in this way, please visit to sign up. All meal schedules can be found by searching for the family’s last name. Passwords are as follows: Eldridge: Eldridge; Sibiga: Tucker; Marshall: Jane.

Women’s Summer Bible Studies: Starting this week, City Church will offer two women’s Bible studies, as well as several social gatherings throughout the summer. The studies are:

  • 1 John: This Bible study will focus on John’s letter to the church assuring us of Jesus’s love and encouraging us toward love and holiness. Mondays at 7:30 at Grace Covenant (1627 Monument Avenue) beginning June 3rd.
  • Habits of Faithfulness: No matter our stage of life, we are called to live by faith. Discussions on various topics (confession, prayer, rest, etc.) will be guided by scripture and articles to apply faithful living in any season. Thursdays at 7:30 at Val Catrow’s house (4535 E. Seminary Avenue) beginning June 6th.
