Women's Event TONIGHT: Breakfast for dinner at 7pm at Peyton Mawyer and Lane Burgess's house. A-M bring champagne, N-Z bring orange juice for mimosas!
No Children's Worship on Sunday: As this is the fifth Sunday of the month, Children’s Worship will not take place during that service. We encourage parents toworship with their children and to see it as an opportunity to teach them about the service. (Nursery care will still be available for ages 0 through 3.)
Mercy Fund on Sunday: We will take up a special mercy fund offering at Sunday’s service, as we always do on the last Sunday of the month. Whatever is given will be kept separate from our general budget and will be used to aid those in our congregation, and in our community, who have emergency needs. Please prayerfully consider what you might give.
Baby Shower for Kristin Nuckols: The ladies of City Church are invited to get together at Amanda Vaughan’s house on Sunday, June 30th from 10am to noon to celebrate the impending arrival of the Nuckols’ baby girl. Please RSVP to Amanda (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan on attending!
