Welcome to the World, Baby Shebaylo! Tess and Dan Shebaylo welcomed their baby girl, Marie Antoinette "Morella" Shebaylo on Friday, June 14th at 9:23am. We will coordinate meals for Tess and Dan over the coming weeks as they adjust to life at home with Morella; please keep an eye out for more information on that.

Artists Needed: If you are interested in helping to design and paint a mural on the wall of the Children's Worship classroom, we'd love to have you join our team! Please contact Jennifer Murphy ( if you would like to be involved in Children's Ministry in this way.

Dad Chat: City Church's Dad Chat will continue every Tuesday from 8pm to 9:30pmthroughout the summer. The next two meetings will be at Frank Allen's house (210 College Road).

Baby Shower for Kristin Nuckols: The ladies of City Church are invited to get together at Amanda Vaughan's house on Sunday, June 30th from 10am to noon to celebrate the impending arrival of the Nuckols' baby girl. Please RSVP to Amanda ( if you plan on attending!

Joint Shower for Emily Bryant and Valerie Warshaw: The ladies of City Church are also invited to get together at Janet Wilhelm's house on Saturday July 20th at 10:30am to celebrate Baby Bryant--a little boy--and Baby Warshaw--a! End-of-Fiscal Year/2013-2014 Budget: City Church's fiscal year ends on June 30th. The Finance Team presented the church's 2013-2014 budget on Sunday, but if you missed it or have additional questions, please contact Glen Nunziata ( or Andrew Bleckley (


Meals for City Church Families: City Church is currently providing meals for four families: the Eldridges, the Sibigas, the Marshalls, and the Crawfords. If you’re interested in serving these families in this way, please visit to sign up. All meal schedules can be found by searching for the family’s last name. Passwords are as follows: Eldridge: Eldridge; Sibiga: Tucker; Marshall: Jane; Crawford: Crawford. We will also have a calendar for the Shebaylos set up shortly.

Women’s Summer Bible Studies: City Church is offering two women’s Bible studies this summer:

  • 1 John: This Bible study will focus on John’s letter to the church assuring us of Jesus’s love and encouraging us toward love and holiness. Mondays at 7:30 at Grace Covenant (1627 Monument Avenue).
  • Habits of Faithfulness: No matter our stage of life, we are called to live by faith. Discussions on various topics (confession, prayer, rest, etc.) will be guided by scripture and articles to apply faithful living in any season. Thursdays at 7:30 at Val Catrow’s house.
