A Message for Parents of Young Kids: Just a reminder that this is the time of year when we see an increase in colds and stomach bugs. If your child has recently been sick, we ask that you please err on the side of caution when deciding whether he/she is healthy enough to stay in the nursery or take part in Children's Worship during the service. While we love seeing and caring for the kids, we need to do all we can to avoid exposing them (and our volunteers) to illness. If you have questions or concerns about this, please contact Jennifer Murphy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Caroling with Grace Covenant: The members of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church have invited us to join them for an evening of caroling in the Fan on Friday, December 21st. We'll meet at Brian Baird's house at 6pm for snacks and drinks. Caroling will start at around 6:30 and last about an hour. Please bring a small dish or appetizer to share. Contact Brian with questions at email@example.com.
Christmas Eve Services (Readers needed!): We will host two services on Christmas Eve at Beth Ahabah: one at 4pm and one at 11pm. The 4pm service is “family-friendly” and will feature readings by some of City Church’s younger attendees. The 11pm service will included lessons, carols, and communion. There will be no nursery care or Children’s Worship during our Christmas Eve services, but please feel free to bring the whole family — we would love to celebrate and worship with you all.
**Also: we are need of readers to take part in the 11pm service. If you're interested in taking part, please contact Erik at firstname.lastname@example.org.**
