City Group Information Session on Sunday: Interested in learning more about City Groups? There will be a brief informational session on Sunday after our worship service.

Healing Service: The City Church elders will lead a healing service on Sunday, October 28th at 7:30pm in Beth Ahabah Chapel. We encourage anyone with chronic illnesses or conditions to join us to receive prayer and support. Contact Erik at with questions.

Mercy Fund on 10/28: As this is the last Sunday of the month, we will be taking contributions to our Mercy Fund. The Mercy Fund is kept separate from our regular budget and is used to provide financial support to members of our congregation and community who are in need. Please prayerfully consider what you might be willing to contribute.

We will coordinate meals for Jennifer, James, and Jack as they adjust to life at home with Eli. Spend Less. Give More. Raise Funds this Advent for the Living Hope School. This Advent, City Church will pause to consider what it mean's to celebrate Christ's birth by spending less on things that distract us and giving more of ourselves to others in need. To do so we've partnered with an RVA startup, inLieu, to raise funds for the Living Hope School in Amuria, Uganda. If you would like more information, you can contact Geoff Weathersby at or attend the information session after church on November 4th at 6:00 in the Joel House.
The Heresy of Orthodoxy: The Richmond Center for Christian Study will host The Heresy of Orthodoxy: How Contemporary Culture’s Fascination with Diversity has Reshaped Our Understanding of Early Christianityon Friday, November 9th at 7pm at Sycamore Presbyterian Church (510 Coalfield Road in Midlothian). Young Professionals Group: Needle’s Eye Ministry’s Fall session of their Young Professionals Group began on Tuesday and will continue to meet weekly through December 11th.This is an eight-week small group workshop for young professionals to explore issues like work-life balance, faith and work, goal setting and skills assessment. All sessions will take place from 6pm to 8pm at the Needle’s Eye office (104 Berrington Court, Richmond, VA 23221). Visit this link to sign up. Cost is $30.
