Daylight Saving Time: Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 11th, at 2am. Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour!

Downtown Lunch: Our next Downtown Lunch will take place on Thursday, March 15th from 12pm to 1pm. We will do a ‘bring your own’ lunch and meet in the conference room of Riverfront Investment Group located at 1214 E. Cary Street. Erik will speak for 5 to 10 minutes after which we’ll share a meal and a conversation around the table.

Friday Night Supper – March 30th: We are doing another Friday night potluck in various homes throughout Richmond on Friday, March 30th and want you to join us! This is a casual dinner open to all people - members, visitors, skeptics, neighbors, etc. - and will provide a chance for us to get to know new people within our community. The host of each home will provide the main dish and each attendee (up to 12 per house) can bring a side of their choosing to share with the group. "Helping Without Hurting" - Saturday, March 10th: Brian Fikkert will be discussing his book, "When Helping Hurts," at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, March 10th through a one-day seminar. The seminar is intended to support the Church in loving people in their local neighborhoods who are materially poor.  For more information, check out the event website. Parking on 3/11 and 3/18: Due to events taking place at St. James's, we will not have access to the parking garage on Sunday, March 11th and Sunday, March 18th. Those will special needs are still permitted to use the handicap spaces.

City Church Basics: The next session of City Church Basics is scheduled for Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st. Church Basics explains who we are as a church and what it means to be a member. It is a necessary step towards formally joining the church, although membership is not required. Meals for the Rumrills: Eniko and Richard Rumrill welcomed their baby girl, Katharine Julianna, on Wednesday, February 22nd at 11:58am. Katharine weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. We will be coordinating meals for Eniko Richard as they adjust to life at home with Katharine.
