Prayer -- TOMORROW Please join members of City Church’s leadership and staff to pray for City Church on Thursday, November 10th from 7-8am at the church office (1520 W. Main Street, Suite 105).

Metro Church Planting Network: Citywide Prayer Meeting for Church Planting and Kingdom Advancement -- 11/16 The Metro Church Planting Network is hosting a citywide prayer meeting on Wednesday, November 16th from 11:45am to 1pm at Battery Park Christian Church (4201 Brook Road, the worship site of Northside Church). Join them for a time of concerted prayer for Richmond, for new churches to be multiplied,

Downtown Lunch -- 11/17 Our next Downtown Lunch will take place on Thursday, November 17th from 12-1pm.We will do a 'bring your own' lunch and meet in the conference room of Riverfront Investment Group located at 1214 E. Cary Street. Erik will share for 5 to 10 minutes after which we’ll share a meal and a conversation around the table.

Harvest Party (11/19) Church will have our annual Harvest Party on Saturday, November 19th at Richard and Eniko Rumrill’s home in St. Stephens Church. Festivities will begin at 4pm (including kid-friendly activities — games, hayrides, etc.), and dinner will start at around 5:30. We will be roasting a pig, so please just bring a side dish or dessert to share. Dress is “hoedown harvesty.”

City Church Forum 3 -- 12/1 Our next installment of City Church Forum will take place on Thursday, December 1st from 7:30 to 9pm at the Joel House at Beth Ahabah (1123 W. Franklin Street). Katie Nienow, the Director of Development for Hope International, will speak on the topic of ‘Your Money and Your Heart’–a particularly relevant subject for consideration during the holiday rush of spending and consumption.


Christmas Eve Services City Church will hold two Christmas Eve services: a family-friendly service at 4pm, and a service with carols, lessons, and communion at 11pm. Both services will be held at Beth Ahabah. We will also be meeting for our regular 4pm service on Christmas Day.
