Deacon Nominations We will be accepting nominations for deacons through today, Wednesday, August 31st. Each potential deacon should be an active male member of the church. To submit a nomination, send an email to Erik (erik [at] or the Session (elders [at] or speak directly with Erik or one of the elders. It is advisable that you talk with any potential nominee to see whether he is willing to be nominated.

Women’s Retreat — September 17th-18th The ladies of City Church will be heading out to Ann Douglas Enghauser family’s cabin in Cumberland County (about 50 miles outside of Richmond) on the morning of Saturday, September 17th and returning to Richmond at around noon that Sunday.
