Summer Supper Series Throughout this summer City Church will be running a Supper Series, giving church members and attendees a chance to share a meal and spend time in fellowship together. Our first supper will be at Joe and Katie Pitcher’s house (301 W. 28th Street) on Wednesday, June 22nd. More details to follow.

Baby Shower for Katie Pitcher -- 6/25 Ladies, you're invited to a baby shower for Katie Pitcher!  Come celebrate Katie, and the little baby we will soon meet, on Saturday, June 25th at 7:30pm at Jennifer Murphy's house (301 W. 26th Street). Katie is registered at Babies R Us and Tiny Tush (, password: Richmond). Katie would like you to know that gifts are not mandatory; please feel free to come even if you don't have a chance to buy anything! If you'd like to provide an hors d'oeuvre or dessert, please let Jennifer know (jennifer.c.murphy [at] or 804.339.6952).

Vespers -- 6/26 All are invited to join us for our monthly Vespers service immediately following our service on Sunday, June 26th. This is an opportunity for us to share a meal and learn more about what's going on at City Church. After our dinner together we will have an informational presentation on the City Church budget (the new fiscal year begins on July 1). Please bring a dish to share -- no pork or shellfish, please!

CCDA Cafe on the Northside -- 6/29 The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) will be hosting a "cafe" on Wednesday June 29th from 6:30pm to 9pm at the Northside Family Learning Center (800 W. Graham Road). A CCDA cafe gives people a chance to meet other Christians working to live out the gospel in the urban environment, learn about the philosophy of Christian Community Development, and learn about opportunities to be involved in your community.
