*NEW* Prayer Meeting -- 5/26 (tomorrow) Please join members of City Church's leadership and staff to pray for City Church on Thursday, May 26th from 7-8am at the church office (1520 W. Main Street, Suite 105). Mercy Fund on Sunday As this week's service falls on the last Sunday of the month, we will be taking contributions to our Mercy Fund. The Mercy Fund is kept separate from our regular budget and is used to provide financial support to members of our congregation and community who are in need. Please prayerfully consider what you might be willing to contribute.

Dinner for Northside Church Plant Matt Lorish, pastor of the new PCA church plant in the Northside of Richmond will share during worship on Sunday. No Children's Worship on Sunday There will be no Children's Worship at this Sunday's service (May 29th). Moving forward we will not have CW on the 5th Sunday of any month with five Sundays. We encourage parents to worship with their children and see it as an opportunity to teach their children about the service.

Faith and the Arts Discussion and Prayer -- 6/1 On Wednesday, June 1st, there will be a vision discussion and prayer time for anyone interested in pursuing the intersection between Faith and the Arts. Artists, art-lovers, and those interested in the subject are invited to meet at the Nixes' (4419 Monument Ave) at 7:30 for an evening of discussion and prayer. Missions Christian Formation Class As part of the Christian Formation course on global missions, we will spend two weeks focusing on Islam. On May 29th, Jay McGee, formerly working with Wycliffe Bible Translators, will talk about the basic beliefs of Islam and share insights about the everyday lives of Muslims around the world. Then on June 5th, Dr. Charles Beckett, director of the Center for Christian Understanding of Islam, will share about the Muslim community here in Richmond. Please join us for this discussion.  The class meets every Sunday on the 2nd floor of the education building from 2:45-3:45.
