Meet & Eat -- THIS SUNDAY Following Sunday's service a group from City Church will be heading to 5 Guys (near VCU) for dinner. If you're relatively new to City Church, this meal offers a chance to get to know some people a bit better. We hope to see you there!

Uganda Missions Trip In October, three people from City Church (Pastor Erik, Sean Rhorer, and Nate Mathews) will be going to Uganda for 12 days to visit City Church member, Jake Lyell, and explore possibilities of ministry partnership in rural Uganda. Congregation Meeting, 9/26 City Church will hold a brief (15 minute) congregational meeting directly following worship on Sunday, September 26th. At this meeting, Erik will explain the time-line for particularization (i.e. the process through which we become a 'real church') and members will vote on a couple of items.

Vespers, 9/26 All are invited to join us for our monthly Vespers service immediately the congregational meeting on Sunday, September 26th. This is a time for us to share a meal and discussion about various events and opportunities within the church. Please bring a dish to share!

Save the Date: Hymn Sing, 10/16 On Saturday, October 16th, Alex Mejias of High Street Hymns will be leading a Hymn Sing co-sponsored by City Church and West End Presbyterian. The Hymn Sing will be at 7:30 PM at will take place at Beth Ahabah Synagogue (1117 W. Franklin St.)
