City Church Basics, 6/18-19 The next session of City Church Basics is scheduled for June 18 and 19. It will take place from 7pm to 9:30pm that Friday and 9am to noon that Saturday in the church office (1520 W. Main Street, Suite 102). Church Basics explains who we are as a church and what it means to be a member. It is a necessary step towards formally joining the church, although membership is not required. Please confirm with Erik (erik [at] if you plan on attending.

Summer Bible Reading A group from City Church will be using a summer Bible Reading Guide over the next 3 months. It is designed to give a survey of key Biblical passages by reading 3-4 chapters from the Bible each day. Anyone from City Church is encouraged to read along with us. Progressive Dinner, 6/5 The Pryors, the Walkers, and the Catrows will be hosting a progressive dinner in their Northside neighborhood on Saturday, June 5 at 7pm. All are welcome! Women's Retreat, 6/12-13 Women’s Weekend is set for June 12-13.  It will be held at Ann Douglas Enghauser’s parents’ cabin in Cumberland County (about 50 minutes from Richmond). Please RSVP to Lindsey Stack  (lindseystack [at] by June 4 if you plan on attending. The cost will be $15 per person.
