Worship in Highland Park, THIS SUNDAY We will join with Lloyd Price's church (Grace Community Outreach) for worship at the Parks and Rec building in Hardy Park on April 11 (that's this Sunday). Please bring a dish to share for our potluck supper with Grace Community Outreach after the service.

Islam, Literacy, and the Gospel, April 17 Many of us have the sense that Islam is growing in power and influence throughout the world as well as America.  How should Christians respond to Muslims amidst growing fear and violence in our world?  Why are some of the most impoverished countries primarily Muslim?  Jay McGee (Wycliffe Bible Translators) will be discussing these questions and exploring how we can share the gospel and promote peace by supporting literacy and education in Muslim communities around the world. This discussion will be taking place on Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 PM at Rev It Up (1211 W. Main St.).

L&F Food Donations Loaves and Fishes is looking for someone to help secure local food partnerships. Connecting with local farmers and stores who are willing donate food will cut our food costs for L&F and involve our whole community in feeding the hungry. This person will work directly with Kira Disse, our Loaves and Fishes coordinator. If interested, please contact blakestack [at]
