Maymont Elementary - Adopt A Classroom

We have been in touch with Maymont Elementary (located in the Randolph neigborhood, near City Church) this spring to better understand some of their needs. They have again requested help with their dwindling classroom supplies and have given a list of items needed. With a tight budget, supplies for kids are hard to come by. If you and/or your small group would have interest adopting a classroom please contact Jesse Caleb (calebjk2 [at] or 804-387-1134). The deadline for donating supplies in April 4.

Save the Date: Jay McGee talk, 4/17 at 7:30pm

Many of us have the sense that Islam is growing in power and influence throughout the world as well as America.  How should Christians respond to Muslims amidst growing fear and violence in our world?  Why are some of the most impoverished countries primarily Muslim?  Jay McGee (Wycliffe Bible Translators) will be discussing these questions and exploring how we can share the gospel and promote peace by supporting literacy and education in Muslim communities around the world.  This will be an evening of tasty desserts, fellowship, and interesting discussion.
