*NEW* Freedom in Creation Benefit & Exhibit, 6/16 Alex Mejias (of the Hymn Sing from last month) is taking part in the Freedom in Creation Tour which will be making a stop in Richmond on Tuesday, June 16th at 7:30pm at Gallery 5 in Jackson Ward (200 W. Marshall Street). As said on their website, "Freedom in Creation a community-led, arts-based psychosocial, education and water-development program aimed at empowering war affected children in Northern Uganda while celebrating the role of the arts within humanitarianism." William Byrd Community House Service Day, 6/13 City Church will participating in a service day at William Byrd Community House in Oregon Hill the morning of Saturday, June 13th.
