We are broken people loved by God, continually restored by Christ, and sent out to worship God, serve Richmond, and work for its renewal.

City Church began as a simple worship service of about 30 people in September of 2006 (then known as Franklin Street Community). We became a church in 2008 and called our first Pastor, Rev. Erik Bonkovsky, in July of that year. Jim Pulizzi came on staff as Pastor of Children & Families in 2016.

Since that first service City Church has grown to a body of over 200 worshippers representing a variety of stages of life: college students; young professionals; families; and a few retirees.

We meet every Sunday at 4pm for worship at 1627 Monument Avenue. We hope you'll join us!

City Church of Richmond is a congregation operating under the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA)
