City Church Christmas Pageant, Party, and Sing-Along! Our Christmas celebration will take place on Saturday, December 6th here at Grace Covenant. Next Common Good RVA Event: Join us on Thursday, November 13th at 7:30 for Common Good RVA: Business. Don Flow (Chairman and CEO of Flow Companies) will join us to share how he integrates his faith into his business practices. Support for the Bleckleys: Tatum Greer Bleckley was born on Wednesday, October 29th, arriving a bit earlier than expected. While Tatum is doing very well, she will be spending several weeks in the NICU. We will provide meals for Hillary and Andrew as they adjust to their new schedule of traveling between their home and visiting Tatum at the hospital. Volunteers needed for City Capernaum! City Capernaum is a Young Life ministry supported by City Church that seeks to share the heart of Jesus with Richmond City high school students with disabilities. We are looking for several volunteers to attend Capernaum “club” meetings to assist with activities and love on the students who attend. The remaining dates for the fall are Tuesday, November 11th; Tuesday, December 2nd; and Thursday, December 18th from 5:30 to 7:30. Pregnancy Resource Center Training: The Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond is looking for men and women who hold a biblical worldview of life and have a desire to compassionately serve people who may be unprepared for pregnancy. Please consider attending the following events if this describes you:
- Pre-Training Orientation Night--Thursday, December 4th from 7pm - 8:30 pm. Come meet the staff, take a tour of the center, and hear an overview of the PRC's ministry and how you can be involved.
- Winter Volunteer Training Course--Saturday, February 7th (2015) from 9am to 4pm and continues for the following five Thursdays (morning or evening classes available).
