Grief Observed: Death is something we will all experience, but it’s difficult to accept and process – sometimes especially as Christians. How can we best support each other, Biblically equip ourselves against the pitfalls of grief, and help the church better engage with grievers? Over 3 Sunday mornings starting January 26th, Grief Observed will provide the framework for us to start answering those questions. Anyone is welcome. Please email Meg Haden, meg@citychurchrva.com, to sign up and learn more.

Bob Lupton Event: Bob Lupton, author of Theirs is the Kingdom, will be speaking at the University of Richmond Camp Concert Hall on Tuesday, January 14th at 8am. It's a free event. There will also be a continental breakfast at 7:30 along with registration before the event. If you're interested, follow this link to RSVP.

REMINDERS

City Groups: City Church is not a church with small groups, but a church of small groups. At City Church, we call these groups City Groups. City Groups are a place where we are known and loved, and also a place from which we are sent out into the world. To learn more or get connected, email john@citychurchrva.com.

City Church Basics: Our next session of City Church Basics will take place the evening of Friday, January 17th (7-9:30), and the morning of Saturday, January 18th (9:30-noon). Church Basics explains who we are as a church and what it means to be a member. It is a necessary step towards formally joining the church, although membership is not required. If you’re interested in taking part in this session, get in touch with Val at val@citychurchrva.com. If you have any questions, please contact Erik at erik@citychurchrva.com.

Sexual Sanity Groups: Are you a man struggling with sexual brokenness? You are not alone and we want to help. Interested? Email john@citychurchrva.com.
