**COMING UP THIS WEEK** This week’s sermon text: This Sunday Erik will preach on 1 Samuel 26. We invite you to read ahead to help prepare yourself for this week’s sermon.

Dr. John Perkins speaking at St. Paul’s: Boaz & Ruth will commemorate their 10th anniversary of serving Richmond with an appearance from Dr. John Perkins, pastor, civil rights leader, entrepreneur and President of the John M. Perkins Foundation for Reconciliation and Development. Dr. Perkins will speak at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (815 E. Grace Street) this evening, May 15th, at 7pm. $10 suggested donation; refreshments will be provided. Go here for more information on Dr. Perkins and the event.

Last service at Beth Ahabah: Just a reminder that Sunday's service will be our last service taking place at Beth Ahabah, as our May 26th service will be at the Rumrills' home (see info below).

Move to Grace Covenant FAQ: We sent out an email earlier this week outlining to FAQs regarding the move to Grace Covenant. We'll also have hard copies of this information (including copies of Grace Covenant's floor plan) on Sunday. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact Erik (erik@citychurchrva.com) or Val (val@citychurchrva.com).

**REMINDERS**

Women’s event: Come and join women from City Church for an evening of drinks and desserts on Tuesday, May 21st at 7:30pm at Ingrid deRoo, Ann Randolph Tabb, and Ann Douglas Enghauser’s home. This will be a great evening to spend time with new and old friends. There will also be information about upcoming studies and events for Women’s Ministry this summer. Bring a bottle of wine, a dessert, or snack to share!

May 26th service: Our May 26th service will take place at Richard and Eniko Rumrill’s home (in St. Stephens Church, VA) at 4pm. This will be a slightly shorter worship service (taking place outdoors), followed by a potluck meal. Please bring a dish to share, as well as blankets and chairs if you like. There will be no nursery care or Children's Worship during the service, but there will be space inside for children to rest, if needed. Please contact Valerie Catrow (val@citychurchrva.com) with questions.

Moving to Grace Covenant: City Church will begin meeting at Grace Covenant (1627 Monument Avenue) beginning June 2nd; our services will still take place at4pm.
