Meals for the Lacroixes: Chris and Emily Lacroix are expecting their first baby any day now. Ashley Biskey will be coordinating meals for them to be delivered during the first few weeks they are home with their new baby. College Students! Tuesdays in July (3rd, 10th, 17th and 31st) there will be gatherings at Melise and Peter Rowan’s house for dinner, Bible discussion and hanging out in Byrd Park. Invite your friends who may be home for the summer. All meet-ups will begin at 6pm.

Final Christian Formation Class: The final installment in our spring Christian Formation Class (Who Needs Theology? Answers to our Current Questions) will meet on Sunday from 5:45 to 6:45 in the Joel House. We will be answering the question: "Where's it all headed?" Come join us!

*REMINDERS AND UPDATES*

Men's weekend: All men of City Church are invited to getaway for about 24 hours of fun on Friday, June 8, to Saturday, June 9 (until 4pm). You don’t want to miss it! We will be heading up to a farm property near Gordonsville, VA (about an hour from Richmond). There will be lots of food (read: grilled goodness), competition (read: cornhole), and recreation (read: fishing, swimming, motor-biking, shooting, etc). The cost is $20 and can be paid online, in cash, or via check (made payable to ‘City Church’ with ‘Men’s Weekend’ in the memo line). Contact Erik (erik@citychurchrva.com) with any questions. Bob Lupton--Insights into Serving the City: Join members of City Church on Friday, June 8th from 7 to 9pm at Northminster Church (3121 Moss Side Avenue) for an evening with Bob Lupton, author of several books on serving the poor; speaker; strategist; and inspirer with those who seek to establish God’s Shalom in the city. Bob will discuss how to develop healthy, community-driven ministries that produce deep, measurable, and lasting change. For more information, contact Blake Stack at blakestack@yahoo.com. Women's Bible Study: This summer City Church will be offering a women’s Bible study on the book of Colossians using a study called, "The Complete Christian." The study will be a small group format and will give the opportunity to study the Bible and build deeper relationships with other women at City Church. The study will begin on Monday, June 11th, and will meet for approximately 8 weeks.
