Quite a few announcements this week! *REMINDERS*

Loaves & Fishes -- THIS SUNDAY Our next opportunity to serve at Loaves & Fishes will be this Sunday, April 17th. We will meet at the Conrad Center (1400 Oliver Hill Way) from 11am to around 2pm to prepare and serve the meal. Good Friday Service Please join us for a Good Friday service on Friday, April 22nd, 7pm at the Blanchards' house (1703 Hanover Ave.) as we recount the night of Jesus’ journey to the cross. Communion will be served. No childcare will be provided although children are welcome to attend.

Pregnancy Resource Center’s Walk for Life The Pregnancy Resource Center’s Walk for Life is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 1pm. They are looking for volunteers to participate in this 2-mile walk and to find sponsors as the Center’s primary community fundraisers. Prayer Meeting, 4/14 Please join Erik and others to pray for City Church on Thursday, April 14th from 7-8am at the new church office (1520 W. Main St., Suite 105).

Cocktails for a Cause, 4/19 On April 19th from 6-7:30pm, HOPE International will host Cocktails for a Cause: “How Does Investing in Microfinance Reduce World Poverty?” at the Hat Factory (140 Virginia Street in Shockoe Bottom). Binford Community Garden Workday, 4/23 On Saturday, April 23rd from 8 to noon, we will help Binford Middle put together a community garden. Bring garden tools (spades, wheelbarrows, rakes, etc.) and meet on the East-side of Binford Middle (Vine at Floyd). If you have any questions, contact Erik at erik [at] citychurchrva.com.
