Starting Sunday, February 6th, City Church of Richmond will be holding Sunday services at Beth Ahabah Synagogue at 1117 W. Franklin Street, just a couple blocks up from where we currently worship. While the current building has served us well for the last 4 1/2 years, the bigger space at Beth Ahabah will allow us to welcome more people to worship and to serve our children and our community better. If you have questions about this transitions, please feel free to contact Andrew Bleckley (email@example.com) or Erik (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Where do I park? Parking is available on the street and in the parking deck directly across Franklin St. from the sanctuary.
How do I get in? You may enter through the main sanctuary door at 1117 W. Franklin St.
What about handicap accessibility? Handicap access to the building is available through the Religious School's breezeway. Follow the driveway located just west of the sanctuary, and enter through the side door. The building itself is equipped with an elevator that makes it very easy to move between the sanctuary and the kitchen and fellowship hall. Handicap parking (3 spots) is available in the parking lot just west of the breezeway entrance to the Religious School building (noted on the above map). Attendees with special needs may also be dropped off at the breezeway entrance.
Where do I take my kids? Nursery care for kids ages 0-3 years will be provided in the Religious School building. If you enter through the main sanctuary door, continue through the sanctuary to the door on the right of the altar. Follow the hall past the stairs and elevator. Turn right when you see a long hallway full of classrooms. A member of our childcare team will be there to welcome your children and to help you sign them in.
Kids ages 4-2nd grade will be dismissed for Children’s Worship before the sermon. Children’s Worship will take place in the Religious School Building (in the same hallway where you’ll find the nursery). Parents are encouraged to walk their kids down to their classroom in the Religious School building.
Where are the restrooms? Restrooms are available in the hallway that runs behind the sanctuary, or in the Religious School hallway.
Will the coffee still be good? Yes. City Church will continue to have Blanchard’s Coffee available before and after the service. However, food and drink are not permitted in the sanctuary and will have to be enjoyed in the entrance area, outside on the steps, or in the downstairs auditorium.
Will City Church still have Vespers? Vespers (a shared potluck meal and vision time for the church) will be held one Sunday of each month (usually the 4th Sunday) in the Auditorium beneath the sanctuary. The first Vespers will take place Sunday, February 20, 2011. Please note that pork products and shellfish are not permitted in the building.
