*REMINDERS* City Church Harvest Party -- THIS SATURDAY! Don't forget about the Harvest Party on Saturday, November 13th from 7-10pm at Jon-Marc's house. City Church will be providing BBQ, so please bring a drink, side, or dessert to share. Dress is "hoedown harvesty." If you haven't RSVP'd through the Evite yet, please do so as soon as possible. If you didn't receive the Evite and plan on coming, please email us at info [at] citychurchrva.com indicating what you plan on bringing. We'd like to have a final count by Thursday, November 11th, so please get back to us!

City Church Basics, 11/19 & 11/20 The next session of City Church Basics is scheduled for November 19th and 20th. Church Basics explains who we are as a church and what it means to be a member. It is a necessary step towards formally joining the church, although membership is not required. Contact Erik (erik [at] citychurchrva.com) with questions and for more info.

Thanksgiving Baskets, 11/25 City Church will be partnering up with Harvest Renewal Church to deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to those in need of a meal on Thanksgiving Day. Baskets will be passed out the morning of Thanksgiving (November 25th). Peter Rowan's Ordination Service, 11/14 This Sunday we will recognize Peter Rowan's ordination during our weekly worship service. A reception in his honor will follow at the Bonkovsky house (21 N. Granby Street). All are welcome.

Musicians Get Together, 11/17 The City Church music team will host a get together for all of the current worship musicians next Wednesday, November 17th, at 7pm at Peter Rowan's place (1715 Hanover Avenue Apt. Loaves & Fishes, 11/21 Our next opportunity to serve at Loaves & Fishes will be Sunday, November 21st. We will meet at the Conrad Center (1400 Oliver Hill Way) from 11am to 2pm to prepare and serve a meal. Please RSVP to Kira Disse (kmdisse [at] gmail.com) if you're interested in helping out.
