*NEW* Giving receipts We will be issuing year-to-date giving receipts within the next couple of weeks. These will help those who financially contribute to City Church plan for any remaining support they would like to offer before the end of the year. If you would prefer to receive a PDF version of your receipt, please let Val Catrow know (val [at] citychurchrva.com).

Household items available Barry and Janet Wilhelm will be moving at the end of October and they have a number of items available for those who are interested. Items include a Maytag washer and dryer, a dining room set, a computer desk, and a lawn mower. All items are in good condition. Uganda trip Pastor Erik, Sean Rhorer, and Nate Mathews are going to Uganda on a missions trip to visit City Church member, Jake Lyell, in Amuria (eastern, central Uganda). Please check out the City Church website (citychurchrva.com) and Jake’s website (jakelyell.com) for more information about Jake’s work there. If you are interested in supporting the trip financially, please make checks payable to City Church with Uganda Trip in the memo line.

Hymn Sing, 10/16 On Saturday, October 16th, Alex Mejias of High Street Hymns will be leading a Hymn Sing co-sponsored by City Church and West End Presbyterian. The Hymn Sing will be at 7:30 PM at will take place at Beth Ahabah Synagogue (1117 W. Franklin Street).
