Special guests -- Christa Hayden (from International Justice Mission) and Janet Polarek (Secretary of the Commonwealth of Virginia) -- will share briefly. Admission is $7. Gilpin Games, 8/21 City Church will be helping host the Gilpin Games from 2 - 5pm on August 21. The Gilpin Games will assist the children and families of G. W. Carver Elementary School by providing them with information and school supplies to prepare for the upcoming school year. We would love for you to help by volunteering the day of the event, distributing fliers on August 14, or helping bring or find event supplies such as food, sports equipment, a raffle item, or an industrial grill.
