*NEW* Pray for Uganda In light of the recent bombings in Kampala Uganda, please read this brief update from City Church member and missionary, Jake Lyell, who currently lives in Uganda and be in prayer for Jake and the country.

Provide meals for the Hoyle family Betsy and Joseph Hoyle, who just moved to Richmond about a month ago, welcomed their first child, Elleree Grace, on July 7. If you would be willing to provide a meal for them, please contact Jennifer Walker at jennifer.p.walker [at] gmail.com or 804-516-8278.

Gilpin Games, 8/21 City Church will be helping host the Gilpin Games from 2 - 5PM on August 21. The Gilpin Games will assist the children and families of G. W. Carver Elementary School by providing them with information and school supplies to prepare for the upcoming school year. We would love for you to help by volunteering the day of the event, distributing fliers on August 14, or helping bring or find event supplies such as food, sports equipment, a raffle item, or an industrial grill. Prayer for Highland Park Missions Trip The Highland Park Missions trip will be taking place Wednesday through Sunday of this week. Please pray for the team.
