*NEW* RISC 2009 Annual Assembly, Monday 10/26 at 6:30pm City Church will be participating for the second year with RISC in their efforts to bring about positive changes in the greater Richmond community. RISC serves as a catalyst for congregations of varying faith and denomination to work together, having impacted the areas of education, justice, and health care, etc. The RISC Annual Assembly offers each person in attendance from member congregations (of which City Church is one) to vote as to what issues will be addressed in the 2009/2010 cycle (proposed new issues are housing, transportation, and education). Each person in attendance will count as one vote, so the more we bring out, the stronger our voice will be. The meeting will be held at Crusade for Christ (1700 W. Moore St. near Maggie Walker Governor's School) at 6:30pm on Monday, October 26th. For further information, please contact Sean Patrick Rhorer (seanrhorera [at] gmail.com).
