We are broken people loved by God, continually restored by Christ, and sent out to worship God, serve Richmond, and work for its renewal.
City Church began as a simple worship service of about 30 people in September of 2006 (then known as Franklin Street Community). We became a church in 2008 and called our first Pastor, Rev. Erik Bonkovsky, in July of that year. Joshua Earman joined us as Assistant Pastor in 2015, and Jim Pulizzi came on staff as Pastor of Children & Families in 2016.
Since that first service City Church has grown to a body of over 200 worshippers representing a variety of stages of life: college students; young professionals; families; and a few retirees.
We meet every Sunday at 4pm for worship at 1627 Monument Avenue. We hope you'll join us!
City Church of Richmond is a congregation operating under the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
